Your New Role

As an Engineering Manager, you'll lead a cross-functional team of software engineers, ensuring the delivery process and product stability. You'll work closely with our Support, QA, and SRE Teams to drive continuous improvements and feature development. With the backing of our Product and People Teams, you'll help overcome new challenges, innovate, and ensure the success of our products and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage, mentor, and coach a team of software engineers
  • Provide resources to improve engineers' skills
  • Set goals and quarterly assess team members
  • Train the team on best practices for high-quality products
  • Remove obstacles blocking engineers from achieving objectives
  • Establish organization structures and processes for fast flow and scalability
  • Facilitate communication between engineering disciplines
  • Define and drive initiatives for long-term improvements with the Product Owner and Tech Lead
  • Perform Human Resource Management tasks, such as recruitment, remuneration, career planning, and long-term vacation planning
Requirements

We're looking for an experienced leader with a track record of managing engineering teams. You should have clear communication and conflict resolution skills, be results-oriented with a pragmatic mindset, and thrive in dynamic environments. You'll need to effectively manage shifting priorities, communicate technical and non-technical directions, and build a supportive and trusting environment within the team.
