Your Role
As a strategic procurement manager, you will be responsible for developing and implementing a strategic procurement strategy to optimize supply chain performance and ensure long-term competitiveness of the company. You will work closely with internal and external stakeholders to ensure that supplier relationships support business objectives.
Your Key Responsibilities
- Procurement Management: You will be responsible for professional procurement management, monitoring supplier performance, and conducting workshops.
- Supply Chain Analysis: You will analyze the procurement process chain independently and identify improvement potentials to optimize and develop logistics processes.
- Supplier Performance Monitoring: You will continuously monitor the performance of key suppliers based on defined KPIs and initiate measures to improve performance.
- Project Management: As a project manager, you will take on topics and projects in the context of digitalization. You will coordinate interdisciplinary teams and report directly to management.
- Collaboration with Internal Teams: You will ensure that supplier quality and performance meet requirements by working closely with internal teams (procurement, logistics, quality, order processing, and engineering).
- Continuous Improvement: You will identify measures to continuously improve supplier performance and conduct negotiations with suppliers.
- Supplier Evaluation: You will evaluate suppliers and work with them to develop their capabilities.
- Special Projects: You will work on special projects (e.g., cost reduction or efficiency improvement initiatives or the introduction of new processes).
Your Qualifications
- We are looking for you if you have a successful bachelor's degree in business administration or a related field or equivalent qualifications.
- You have several years of experience in strategic procurement management or related fields.
- You have already had the opportunity to take on responsibility for planning and implementing logistics processes in your previous work.
- You are proficient in SAP, particularly in the MM module and procurement IT tools.
- You have in-depth knowledge and several years of experience in goal-oriented negotiation and the application of analytical techniques in procurement.
- You communicate fluently in German and English, as you will be working in an international environment.
