At FRIDAY Insurance S.A., we are dedicated to connecting talented individuals with exceptional career opportunities. We are currently seeking a motivated Working Student in our Legal & Compliance Department to gain practical experience while pursuing your studies in German Law.

Key Responsibilities:

In this role, you will play a vital part in enhancing our Legal & Compliance Department, collaborating within an international framework that supports operations across various countries.

  • Assist in a variety of legal issues, particularly in the areas of consumer law, IT law, data protection law, and insurance contract law.
  • Perform legal research on emerging regulations, including the Digital Operational Resilience Act (DORA) and the Artificial Intelligence Act (AI Act).
  • Manage and update our contract management and data protection tools, ensuring deadlines are met.
  • Contribute to the quality assurance of terms and conditions as well as other legal documents.
  • Address complaints and ensure effective resolution.

What We Require:
  • Enrollment in a recognized university.
  • Currently studying German Law at a German University or University of Applied Sciences, ideally in Semester 5 or higher.
  • Fluency in both German and English; knowledge of French is advantageous.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, a proactive approach, and a collaborative spirit.
  • Ability to analyze and articulate complex issues clearly, both verbally and in writing.
  • A meticulous, independent, and pragmatic work ethic.
