Your Responsibilities

Productsup is a global entity, based in Berlin, with a robust international clientele, and we are eager to expand our operations and team in the EMEA North region.

If you are a proactive self-starter with a deep understanding of the Retail, Marketplaces, and CPG sectors, we invite you to take on the role of Retail Activation Manager.

You will enhance connections between Productsup, suppliers, retailers, and marketplaces by forging new partnerships and generating leads to broaden our business scope. Our objective is to further develop our retail accounts and grow our business through strategic lead generation.

In Your Initial 3 Months, You Will:
  • Become acquainted with our market offerings, global solutions, target demographics, and competitive landscape. Engage with the retailer's organization and collaborate with various departments, including e-commerce, marketing, category management, and executive leadership.
  • Employ a multichannel strategy, including proactive outreach, to engage targeted retailers.
  • Establish connections with prominent European retailers across diverse sectors.
In Your First 6 Months and Beyond, You Will:
  • Collaborate closely with our Business Development, Sales, and Product teams to devise strategies and build a robust pipeline of new business opportunities, ensuring performance targets are met.
  • Facilitate renewal and upsell sales cycles with our retailers in coordination with supporting departments (e.g., Customer Success, BDR, Account Executive).
  • Craft a compelling value proposition for our existing retailers by providing the appropriate products or services, ultimately driving revenue growth.
  • Continue to expand and seek opportunities to deepen our relationships within our existing retailer network.
  • Develop relationships with inactive retailers or retail associations and identify potential online retailers.
  • Gain insights into our retailers' business needs and demonstrate how our solutions can assist them in making informed decisions.
  • Support growth initiatives with metrics, data tracking, and sales assistance.
  • Lead e-commerce projects with international brands, retailers, and CPG across various sectors.
What You Bring to the Table
  • 2-3 years of experience in sales, business development, or account management with a proven ability to generate pipeline and close deals, preferably within the Retail, Marketplaces, or CPG sectors.
  • Strong comprehension of the e-commerce retail environment.
  • Experience in outbound prospecting, with the capability to engage targeted Retailers and Marketplaces.
  • Analytical skills with the ability to translate data into actionable strategies.
  • Results-oriented mindset focused on achieving and surpassing key performance indicators.
  • Excellent interpersonal and influencing abilities for effective cross-functional collaboration.
  • An entrepreneurial spirit, solution-focused, with a consultative sales approach.
  • Willingness to travel to new and existing retailers.
  • Fluency in English is essential; proficiency in Dutch is advantageous.
