Your Responsibilities and Objectives

As an international entity based in Berlin, Productsup is keen on expanding its operations and team across EMEA North.

If you possess an entrepreneurial spirit and a deep understanding of the Retail, Marketplaces, and CPG sectors, we invite you to take on the role of Retail Activation Manager.

You will play a crucial role in enhancing relationships between Productsup, suppliers, retailers, and marketplaces by forging new partnerships and generating leads to broaden our business reach. Our goal is to advance our retail accounts and grow our business through strategic lead generation.

In Your Initial 3 Months, You Will:
  • Become acquainted with our market offerings, global solutions, target demographics, and competitive environment. Engage with various departments within the retailer's organization, including e-commerce, marketing, category management, and executive leadership.
  • Implement a multichannel strategy, including proactive outreach, to engage targeted retailers.
  • Establish connections with prominent European retailers across diverse sectors.
In Your First 6 Months and Beyond, You Will:
  • Collaborate closely with our Business Development, Sales, and Product teams to formulate strategies, creating a robust pipeline of new business opportunities that meet performance targets.
  • Facilitate renewal and upsell cycles with our retailers, aligning with supporting departments such as Customer Success and Account Management.
  • Craft a compelling value proposition for our existing retailers by delivering appropriate products or services, ultimately driving revenue growth.
  • Continue to expand and seek opportunities to deepen our relationships within our existing retailer network.
  • Engage with inactive retailers or retail associations to identify potential online retail partners.
  • Comprehend our retailers' business needs and demonstrate how our solutions can assist them in making informed decisions.
  • Support growth initiatives with measurable benchmarks, data analysis, and sales assistance.
  • Develop e-commerce projects in collaboration with international brands, retailers, and CPG entities across various sectors.
What You Bring to the Table
  • 2-3 years of relevant experience in sales, business development, or account management, with a proven history of generating leads and closing deals, preferably within the Retail, Marketplaces, or CPG sectors.
  • A strong grasp of the e-commerce retail environment.
  • Experience in proactive prospecting, with the ability to engage effectively with targeted Retailers and Marketplaces.
  • An analytical mindset capable of translating data into actionable strategies.
  • A results-oriented approach to achieving and surpassing key performance indicators.
  • Excellent interpersonal and influencing skills for effective cross-functional collaboration.
  • An entrepreneurial mindset, focused on solutions with a consultative sales approach.
  • Willingness to travel to engage with both new and existing retailers.
  • Fluency in English is essential; proficiency in Dutch is advantageous.
