About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Frontend Engineer to join our key Checkout Team at Omio. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing and developing robust frontend solutions using state-of-the-art technologies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop high-quality frontend components that are used throughout all of Omio's frontends (mobile, desktop, apps)
  • Collaborate with the team to rapidly test ideas on users, use results for iterations, and improve our product
  • Research and evaluate new languages, libraries, and frameworks to ensure we stay at the forefront of innovation
  • Develop highly reusable frontend components that can be dynamically mounted in any React frontend
  • Apply your engineering expertise to automate processes and guide the team during decision-making
Requirements
  • Customer-focused: You have a passion for building front-ends that users genuinely enjoy and helps them get the most out of our product
  • Up to code: You have more than 3 years of experience in software development, write clean, lean, effective code, all version controlled
  • Pragmatic: You and your team take on complex multi-domain problems, analyze, design, build modular solutions, and deliver end-to-end in an MVP, value-first, and iterative approach
  • An automator: You remove repetition and snowflakes through scripting and automation tools
  • A tuning expert: You have improved performance and analyzed bottlenecks in production systems through benchmarks and stress tests
  • A team player: You guide and help your teammates with planning and delivering high-quality software and take on communication across teams
