About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Frontend Developer to join our key Checkout Team at Omio, a leading travel technology company. As a Senior Frontend Developer, you will play a crucial role in building a world-class product experience for travelers from all over the world.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create robust frontend solutions using state-of-the-art technologies, including TypeScript, React, and React Native.
  • Work with the team to rapidly test ideas on users, use results for iterations, and improve our product.
  • Test new languages, libraries, and frameworks to ensure we stay ahead of the curve and never stop innovating.
  • Build highly reusable frontend components that can be dynamically mounted in any React frontend.
  • Apply your engineering experience to automate processes and guide the team during decision-making.

Our Tech Stack:

  • Typescript/Javascript, React, React Native, ES6, Rest API/GraphQL, Styled components, Jest, Cypress, Kubernetes, GitHub.

You Are:

  • A customer-focused individual with a passion for building front-ends that users genuinely enjoy.
  • Up to code, with more than 3 years of experience in software development, writing clean, lean, effective code, all version controlled.
  • A pragmatic problem-solver who takes on complex multi-domain problems, analyzes, designs, builds modular solutions, and delivers end-to-end in an MVP, value-first, and iterative approach.
  • An automator who removes repetition and snowflakes through scripting and automation tools.
  • A tuning expert who improves performance and analyzes bottlenecks in production systems through benchmarks and stress tests.
  • A team player who guides and helps teammates with planning and delivering high-quality software and takes on communication across teams.
