Account Manager (Sales)

Fitch Solutions is seeking a highly skilled Account Manager to join our European Team, stationed in either our Frankfurt or London locations.

This pivotal sales position involves overseeing commercial partnerships with Banks, Corporates, Asset Managers, and Insurances primarily within the DACH (Germany, Austria, Switzerland) area. The role entails some travel obligations. The successful candidate will be tasked with promoting a range of products and services offered by Fitch Solutions, including Fitch Credit Ratings, Credit Research, Fundamental Financial Data & Analytics, Country Risk, Industry Research & Geopolitical Risk from BMI, and ESG Products from Sustainable Fitch.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage your own book of business: Develop and grow existing client accounts by identifying opportunities to increase spend with cross-sells/upsells, deepen relationships, and deliver exceptional value to clients.
  • Achieve and exceed assigned revenue targets by effectively managing your sales pipeline, developing strategic sales plans, and implementing tactical initiatives.
  • Set up and develop long-lasting client relationships to become a strategic partner to your clients by understanding their workflows and position in the market.
  • Become a subject matter expert both in the industries you cover and the solutions Fitch has to offer to our clients.
  • Grow the Fitch Solutions business by persuading and negotiating effectively across the territories.
  • Liaise and collaborate with internal cross-functional teams to support your client's needs.
Requirements:
  • A self-starter with the ability to build their own pipeline from day one.
  • Highly independent, self-motivated, and proactive with a strong sense of ownership and accountability.
  • Resilient and adaptable with a positive attitude and a keen desire to learn and grow.
  • Ability to negotiate as well as articulate product value proposition and competitive advantage.
  • Excellent communication skills, fluency in both written and verbal forms of German and English are essential.
