This internship offers a unique opportunity to engage in the field of software-in-the-loop (SiL) development specifically tailored for the simulation of plug-in hybrid vehicles.

Research & Development - Operational Strategy
Key Responsibilities:
As an intern, you will delve into the complexities of electrified powertrains, gaining hands-on experience with both electric drives and conventional combustion engines. Your tasks will include:
- Conducting simulation calculations utilizing software-in-the-loop methodologies.
- Implementing diverse test scenarios related to operational strategies within an SiL testing framework.
- Analyzing results from the SiL testing process and categorizing identified issues.
- Collaborating with colleagues to refine test cases based on application feedback.
- Enhancing the simulation model for improved accuracy.
- Comparing simulation outcomes with real-world vehicle measurements from test drives.
- Developing automated evaluation logic for simulation results.
Qualifications:
Candidates should possess a degree in automotive engineering, mechatronics, electrical engineering, computer science, or a related field. Preferred qualifications include:
- Experience in modeling, simulation, or optimization.
- Familiarity with Matlab/Simulink.
- Proficiency in MS Office applications.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in both German and English.
- A collaborative spirit and commitment to teamwork.
- An analytical mindset with a strategic approach to problem-solving.
