Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Occupant Simulation Specialist to join our team at Mercedes-Benz AG. As a key member of our Passenger Safety Division, you will be responsible for the numerical and virtual design of occupant protection for all global legal and rating requirements in frontal and side impacts.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop occupant restraint systems, including airbags and seatbelts, to meet global safety standards.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure vehicle-specific tuning of restraint systems.
  • Analyze and optimize occupant safety in vehicle interiors.

Requirements

  • Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in Python programming language and experience with OpenCV and Convolutional Neural Networks (CNNs).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work in a team environment.
  • Excellent communication and language skills, with fluency in English and German.
