At the BMW Group, we're pushing the boundaries of innovation in parking driver assistance functions. As a Software Architect, you'll play a crucial role in shaping the next generation of parking solutions.

About the Role

  • You'll work in a highly complex environment to bring cutting-edge parking driver assistance functions to customers.
  • Responsibilities include integrating large and complex software applications, including their architecture and dependencies.
  • Initiate and lead hands-on debug sessions to understand and resolve integration problems.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of software components.
  • Provide operational support to SW platform and application teams, especially in error scenarios.
  • Support feature teams in integrating their software into the vehicle.
  • Work in an international and interdisciplinary environment, collaborating with high-tech industrial partners.

Requirements

  • Degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics, or a related field.
  • Practical experience in system/software design, continuous integration, and corresponding tool landscapes.
  • Proficiency in embedded software development in C and C++ (C99/C++14).
  • Experience with POSIX software components, including debugging tools like gdb.
  • Profound knowledge of driver assistance systems and software platforms (Adaptive AUTOSAR).
  • Experience in vehicle integration is an advantage.
  • Good German language skills.
