Job Title: Senior Software Architect

We are seeking a seasoned Senior Software Architect to shape the future of Snke OS's software architecture. In this role, you will have the following responsibilities:

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deep dive into the existing framework and architecture to identify areas for improvement.
  • Analyze architectural requirements and challenges to inform design decisions.
  • Define, design, and implement a sustainable, state-of-the-art software architecture aligned with the company's business strategy.
  • Ensure high-quality software through proper software design and development.
  • Collaborate with key software engineers and application architects across the Brainlab Group to drive architectural decisions.
  • Lead expert discussions and make architectural decisions to ensure the best possible outcome.
  • Create clear and understandable documentation of architectural concepts to facilitate knowledge sharing.
  • Share knowledge and provide technical guidance to colleagues to support their growth and development.
  • Guide and support teams from concept to implementation to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Participate in and drive architecture-focused pilot and proof-of-concept projects to stay ahead of the curve.
  • Roll out overarching concepts across the company to ensure consistency and alignment.
  • Monitor and assess new technologies and tools to inform future architectural decisions.
Qualifications:
  • Passion for innovative high-tech products and technological advancement.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and documentation skills (fluent English).
  • Professional experience in software development and architectural software design.
  • Degree in Computer Science or a related discipline.
  • 7+ years of professional experience in state-of-the-art software engineering.
  • 5+ years of professional experience in architectural software design.
  • Profound understanding of concepts and trends in computer software and technology.
  • Ability to quickly grasp new contexts and tools.
  • Well-organized and clearly structured, agile working style.
  • Open mindset, finding creative solutions, and willing to collaboratively define and grow explicit software architecture at Snke OS.
  • Hands-on mentality.
