Software Architect for Parking Driver Assistance Functions

At the BMW Group, we're pushing the boundaries of innovation in parking driver assistance functions. As a Software Architect, you'll play a crucial role in shaping the next generation of parking solutions.
About the Role
- You'll work in a highly complex environment to bring cutting-edge parking driver assistance functions to customers.
- Responsibilities include integrating large and complex software applications, including their architecture and dependencies.
- Initiate and lead hands-on debug sessions to understand and resolve integration problems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of software components.
- Provide operational support to SW platform and application teams, especially in error scenarios.
- Support feature teams in integrating their software into the vehicle.
- Work in an international and interdisciplinary environment, collaborating with high-tech industrial partners.
- Enjoy access to state-of-the-art infrastructure at our Autonomous Driving Campus.
Requirements
- Degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics, or a related field.
- Practical experience in system/software design, continuous integration, and corresponding tool landscapes.
- Programming skills in embedded software development, including C and C++.
- Experience with POSIX software components, debugging tools, and kernel/ioctl traces.
- Proficient knowledge of driver assistance systems and software platforms (Adaptive AUTOSAR).
- Experience in vehicle integration is an asset.
- Good German language skills.
