Finance Data Analyst

Your Role

As a finance-focused business and systems analyst within a global research organization, your primary responsibility will be to collaborate with an experienced Financial Management Consultant to enhance and develop the financial management information reporting necessary for informed decision-making.

Utilizing your IT skills, especially in databases, systems integration, and data manipulation, you will partner with the Financial Management Consultant and key stakeholders to generate financial management reports tailored for decision-makers.

This position will necessitate teamwork and consensus-building across various departments, along with data analysis to compute costings, recognize trends, forecast performance, and optimize resource allocation.

Building robust relationships and fostering collaboration will be essential to facilitate consensus among teams.

Contract Details:

  • Contract duration: 2 years
  • Grading: 5 (monthly salary starting at €3,925 after tax, excluding pension & insurances) + benefits

Your Qualifications

  • Qualified or Part Qualified accountant or equivalent financial qualification
  • Extensive experience may also be considered
  • At least 5 years of experience in developing and manipulating data sets/databases
  • Understanding of financial systems and their critical controls to ensure data integrity
  • Proficiency in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Expertise in data manipulation and integration
  • Knowledge of mid-sized finance systems
  • Experience in implementing financial systems
  • Excellent collaborative skills
  • Ability to build consensus among stakeholders with varying priorities
  • Strong communication skills with diverse stakeholders
  • Ability to write reports and present financial updates
  • Capability to discuss and address issues with stakeholders to facilitate problem resolution

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with project and ERP rollouts
  • Familiarity with SAP, Workday, or similar financial systems
