Business Analyst in Finance

Position Overview
As a finance-focused business and systems analyst within a prominent multinational research organization, your primary responsibility will be to collaborate with a seasoned Financial Management Consultant to refine and enhance the financial management information reporting essential for informed decision-making.
Utilizing your expertise in information technology, particularly in database management, systems integration, and data analysis, you will partner with the Financial Management Consultant and key stakeholders to generate insightful financial management reports for executives.
This role necessitates effective collaboration and consensus-building across various departments, thorough data analysis to determine cost structures, identify trends, forecast performance, and optimize resource allocation.
You will be expected to cultivate strong relationships, promote teamwork, and facilitate consensus among diverse teams.
Key Information
Contract duration: 2 years Grading: 5 (monthly salary starting at €3,925 after tax but excluding pension & insurances) + benefits Reference number: HD02653Qualifications
Qualified or Part Qualified accountant or other relevant financial qualification Extensive experience will also be considered Minimum of 5 years of experience in developing and manipulating data sets/databases. Understanding of financial systems and their critical controls that ensure data integrity. Proficiency in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint Strong problem-solving skills Expertise in data manipulation and integration Familiarity with mid-sized financial systems Experience in implementing financial systems Excellent collaborative skills Ability to build consensus among stakeholders with varying priorities Strong communication skills with a diverse range of stakeholders. Proficient in writing reports and presenting financial updates Capable of discussing and addressing issues with stakeholders to facilitate problem resolutionPreferred Skills
Experience in project management and ERP system rollouts Familiarity with SAP, Workday, or similar financial systems-
