Brand Specialist with German Language Expertise

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Brand Specialist to join our Amazon EU team in Germany. As a Brand Specialist, you will play a crucial role in driving the growth and success of our brand partners across Europe.

Key Responsibilities
  • Business Development: Identify EU industry opportunities and provide recommendations to improve overall business performance through the use of Amazon programs.
  • Supply Chain Excellence: Drive EU supply-chain operational excellence initiatives by reducing costs, defects, lead times, and by managing stock in our fulfilment centre.
  • Promotion & Funding: Provide recommendations for the brand's marketing and advertising campaigns to promote new products, increase traffic and improve conversion. Plan, implement and manage promotional activities for Amazon events such as Prime Day.
  • Selection & IDQ: Help grow selection by managing the launch of new products and improving discoverability. You will identify product gaps, onboard the new products and be responsible for the ramp up of these products, as well as improve the customer journey on Amazon.
About the Team

As a Brand Specialist, you will be part of a diverse and international team that is passionate about building the future of e-commerce. You will have the opportunity to work with different stakeholders to implement new ideas and processes within Amazon EU, such as Category Management, Supply Chain management, Finance and Marketing.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's/Master's degree preferably in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Marketing or a similar program
  • Minimum of 12 months professional experience after graduation in Sales, Buying, Project Management, Supply Chain, Consulting, Finance, Account Management or Marketing.
  • Fluent written and verbal communication in English (minimum C1 level)
  • Fluent written and verbal communication in German (minimum C1 level)
  • Knowledge in MS Office programs (e.g. Excel, PowerPoint)
Preferred Qualifications
  • Strong business acumen and analytical skills
  • Knowledge of another European language (preferably English, French, Italian or Spanish)
  • Basic knowledge of SQL or website content management systems
  • Confident in communicating internally and externally
  • Planning, prioritisation and timemanagement skills
