Position Overview:
We are currently looking for a dedicated Postdoctoral Research Scientist to contribute to the European XFEL Virtual Diagnostics Project.
Contract Duration: 2 years | Work Arrangement: Full-time/Part-time | Remote Work: Possible

Project Description: The European XFEL serves as a user facility that generates X-ray photon beams with diverse spectral and temporal characteristics. To achieve optimal operational efficiency, meticulous control of various electron beam parameters is essential, which in turn necessitates effective online diagnostics. The Virtual Diagnostics initiative has been launched to tackle this requirement, focusing on predicting electron beam parameters through a blend of non-invasive diagnostics, theoretical accelerator models, and machine learning methodologies.
