As a pivotal member of the Software Development Unit, you will be engaged in one of our specialized Software Development Teams tailored to your expertise and interests. In the role of a Senior Software Engineer, you will oversee projects from initial concept through to final delivery. Your primary duties will include developing software through coding, as well as enhancing existing software to rectify issues, adapt to new hardware, boost performance, or upgrade user interfaces. You will also play a significant role in guiding system testing, validation processes, and collaborating with clients or departments on technical challenges, including software system architecture and maintenance.Crafting clear and precise designs for functionalities and components Producing clear and maintainable code following industry best practices Conducting thorough testing and documentation of code Developing business functionalities and overseeing DevOps for the 360T trading platform Comprehensive documentation of design and code for all created artifacts Sharing knowledge and insights with colleagues Mentoring new team members
Candidate Profile
Over 5 years of experience in Java programming and its core libraries Strong understanding of object-oriented analysis and design patterns In-depth knowledge of JVM internals, including garbage collection tuning and JVM profiling Extensive experience in multi-threaded and concurrent programming Familiarity with Java networking, including basic exposure to socket programming and TCP internals, with a willingness to delve deeper for optimization Proficiency in at least one additional programming language, such as C/C++ Experience with database management systems Commitment to clean code development principles Adherence to defensive programming practices High proficiency in spoken English Strategic planning capabilities Excellent communication skills Passion for understanding the business motivations behind technical requirements Ability to comprehend project timelines, commit to them, estimate, plan, and transparently communicate project progress, ensuring delivery of commitmentsOur Offer
