ROLE OVERVIEW

In the capacity of a Junior Brand Strategist within the Wella US team, your primary responsibility will be to drive market penetration and enhance market share for the brand. You will be tasked with articulating the vision, strategy, and actionable plans to elevate your brand and execute these initiatives with precision.

We seek a candidate with a results-oriented mindset who will manage the business with a sense of ownership, demonstrating exceptional collaboration and project management capabilities.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Formulates and implements comprehensive marketing and promotional strategies, collaborating with internal teams (sales, media, trade marketing) and external partners.
  • Regularly assesses the effectiveness of plans and suggests enhancements.
  • Analyzes brand consumption and purchasing trends through detailed market data evaluation.
  • Tracks competitive activities and market dynamics using various analytical tools.
  • Continuously proposes action plans to accelerate growth and adapt to category and competitive shifts.
  • Works alongside the global team to develop essential brand assets.
  • Partners with trade marketing and sales teams to provide necessary resources for successful retail engagement.
  • Manages budget and oversees financial tracking.
  • Performs additional duties as required.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Minimum of 2 years of marketing experience in the US.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Preferred experience in the Beauty or FMCG sectors.
  • Strong project management abilities.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Excellent operational skills: focused on outcomes, capable of planning and executing projects timely, identifying issues, and proposing solutions.
  • Analytical mindset: adept at interpreting complex data to derive insights and identify growth barriers, with a strong affinity for numbers.
  • Demonstrates ownership: acts as a business owner, driving projects autonomously and being accountable for outcomes.
  • Skilled in building collaborative relationships with internal and external teams.
  • Adaptable to change: open-minded and flexible in approach.
