Job Title: Head of HSE Offshore

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Head of HSE Offshore to join our team at NEPTUN SMULDERS Engineering. As a key member of our Offshore department, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of health, safety, and environmental management across our projects.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement effective HSE strategies and policies to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
  • Lead and manage a team of HSE professionals to provide expert advice and support to project teams.
  • Conduct regular audits and inspections to identify and mitigate potential HSE risks.
  • Collaborate with project teams to develop and implement HSE plans and procedures.
  • Provide training and awareness programs to ensure a culture of HSE excellence within the organization.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with external stakeholders, including regulatory bodies and industry partners.
  • Ensure accurate and timely reporting of HSE incidents and near misses.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices in HSE management.
Requirements:
  • Master's degree in Health and Safety, Environmental Science, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in HSE management, preferably in the offshore wind or construction industry.
  • Proven track record of developing and implementing effective HSE strategies and policies.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.
  • Fluency in English, with additional languages an asset.
