About the Role

As a Software Development Engineer at Amazon Development Center Germany GmbH, you will have the opportunity to work on highly automated, scalable finance systems that accelerate Prime Video's growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and deploy software solutions that meet high standards of performance and reliability.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and define technical designs.
  • Work in an agile environment, responsible for end-to-end delivery, including supporting customers.

Requirements
  • Experience in professional software development, including designing or architecting new and existing systems.
  • Experience programming with modern languages such as Java, C++, or C#.
  • Experience with full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent.
  • Experience with cloud computing, large-scale and high-availability distributed architecture.
  • Experience with micro service architecture.
  • Experience communicating with users and other technical teams to collect requirements, describe software product features, and technical designs.
