About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Software Development Engineer to join our Prime Video Finance Systems team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying high-performance, scalable finance systems that meet the needs of our fast-growing video business.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop highly automated, scalable finance systems using modern programming languages and technologies.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to collect requirements, describe software product features, and technical designs.
  • Work in an agile environment, prioritizing tasks, and delivering high-quality software products.
  • Develop and maintain high-performance, high-availability distributed architecture using cloud computing and microservices.

Requirements
  • Experience in professional software development, with a focus on designing or architecting new and existing systems.
  • Experience programming with modern languages such as Java, C++, or C#, including object-oriented design.
  • Experience with full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations.
