About the Role

We are seeking a seasoned and motivated Director of Corporate Communications (m/f/d) to define the future narrative and visibility of Project A and our associated companies.

This position will be instrumental in developing and implementing our communication strategy, enhancing Project A's brand visibility, and offering strategic guidance to our portfolio companies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Formulate the global PR & communications strategy to boost brand recognition and generate enthusiasm for Project A.
  • Consistently drive and implement the strategy and communication plans, taking responsibility for the outcomes.
  • Proactively seek and leverage opportunities to enhance our brand and funds externally, including the personal brands of our investment team and partners.
  • Secure and coordinate premier media coverage and speaking opportunities at significant industry events and conferences.
  • Collaborate with a wide array of stakeholder groups, including portfolio companies, the media, and internal audiences such as the investment team and partners.
  • Create high-quality, engaging content that demonstrates deep industry knowledge and thought leadership.
  • Serve as the primary international communications liaison for Project A Ventures, ensuring effective message delivery to various audiences, including investors, partners, and the media.
Your Qualifications
  • At least 6 years of experience in communications within dynamic startup, scale-up, or venture capital environments, with additional experience as a tech journalist or in a PR agency.
  • With a balance of strategy and execution, you adeptly navigate both breadth and depth while excelling as an individual contributor.
  • You possess a proven track record of developing and executing successful communication strategies with measurable outcomes.
  • An outgoing self-starter, well-connected within the startup ecosystem and relevant media channels.
  • You are results-driven and possess a growth-oriented mindset.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills and the ability to effectively manage senior stakeholders and drive the communications agenda.
  • A proactive and independent work approach; adaptable and quick to respond to new challenges and changes.
