In this position, you will:- Formulate the global PR & communications strategy to further boost brand recognition and generate enthusiasm for Project A.
- Consistently drive and implement the strategy and communication plans, taking responsibility for the outcomes.
- Proactively discover and capitalize on opportunities to enhance our brand and funds externally, including the personal brands of our investment team and partners.
- Secure and coordinate high-profile media coverage and speaking opportunities at significant industry events and conferences.
- Collaborate with a wide array of stakeholder groups, including portfolio enterprises, the media, and internal audiences, such as the investment team and partners.
- Create high-quality, engaging content that demonstrates in-depth industry expertise and thought leadership.
- Serve as the primary international communications liaison for Project A Ventures, ensuring effective message delivery to varied audiences, including investors, partners, and the media.
- A minimum of 6 years of experience in communications within dynamic startup, scale-up, or VC environments, with additional experience as a tech journalist or in a PR agency.
- With a balance of strategy and execution, you adeptly navigate both breadth and depth while thriving as an individual contributor.
- You possess a proven track record of developing & executing successful communication strategies with measurable outcomes.
- An outgoing self-starter who is well-connected within the startup ecosystem and relevant media channels.
- You drive results and have a growth-oriented mindset.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills and the presence to effectively manage senior stakeholders and advance the communications agenda.
- A proactive and independent work approach; both adaptable and quick to respond to new challenges and changes.
