Data plays a vital role in our product development, acting as a key driver for understanding product performance and its underlying causes.
We are currently seeking a student intern (all genders) to join our Beats & Bytes tech division as a product analyst within the eCommerce team.
Learning Opportunities:
- Gain insights into how data and analytics influence product decisions, strategies, and engineering, enhancing customer experiences in eCommerce and beyond.
- Experience product development processes, including how data analysis fosters an experimental culture—from test design to post-analysis.
- Learn about A/B testing and other experimental methodologies.
- Utilize visualization tools to craft compelling narratives with data, leveraging experimentation to identify impactful opportunities.
- Embrace the B3S approach—collaborating within a creative and supportive cross-functional team across customer-facing and internal applications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Visualize product performance by consolidating data from various sources to assess success metrics.
- Design and implement A/B tests, analyze outcomes, and provide data-driven recommendations for new features or enhancements.
- Translate customer insights into research inquiries.
- Develop comprehensive analytical user insights, documenting findings and related research methodologies.
- Stay informed about the latest advancements in product analytics and share knowledge with the broader eCommerce team.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
- Currently enrolled in a relevant Bachelor's or Master's Degree program.
- Passionate about data, product insights, and thriving in a dynamic business environment with a cross-functional team.
- Basic knowledge of data transformation using SQL and Python, along with experience in data visualization tools.
- Strong interest in A/B testing (prior experience is advantageous).
- Familiarity with Google Analytics, Looker Studio, or other visualization tools is a plus.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English, with a detail-oriented and self-motivated approach; proficiency in German is desirable.
- Previous experience in an entry-level product analyst role is beneficial.
- A collaborative spirit and a strong desire for continuous learning and development.
