Communications Internship in Automotive Sector

The Mercedes-Benz Group stands as a leader in the automotive industry, renowned for its premium and luxury vehicles. Our dedicated team manages communications for both cars and vans, encompassing various aspects such as product information, technology updates, brand promotion, lifestyle initiatives, sports partnerships, and design innovations.
Internship DetailsWe are seeking a motivated intern to support our department management team for a duration of six months. This role presents an opportunity to engage with diverse tasks and gain valuable insights into the field of communications.
Key Responsibilities- Event Coordination: Assist in the planning, execution, and follow-up of internal meetings, retreats, and employee events. This includes preparing content in collaboration with various internal departments and managing the organizational aspects of these gatherings.
- Process Documentation: Create presentations that illustrate or update departmental processes.
- Human Resources Support: Aid in the preparation of communications related to personnel changes.
- Inquiry Management: Provide support in addressing and following up on inquiries from customers and journalists.
- A degree in business administration, economics, or a related field with a focus on communication, marketing, or event management is preferred.
- Prior experience in communications or marketing is advantageous.
- Proficiency in MS Office applications is essential.
- Fluent written and spoken skills in both German and English are required.
- A willingness to learn, strong motivation, and a proactive approach are essential.
- Effective communication and teamwork abilities are crucial.
- An analytical mindset and strategic thinking are highly valued.
