Your Role as a Data Security Manager (m/f/d)We are seeking a skilled manager to implement essential measures ensuring that BuildingMinds consistently adheres to relevant data protection regulations. You will oversee the documentation and management of our information security management system standards, ensuring compliance at all times.
In this role, you will report directly to our management team and coordinate activities related to compliance with applicable laws (such as GDPR) and data security standards (like ISO 27001). You will serve as a primary contact for all internal stakeholders regarding data privacy and security matters. Collaboration with our Information Security Officer will be key as you develop policies that enforce compliance and conduct training sessions to enhance staff awareness of data protection and security protocols.
Your Responsibilities Include:
- Maintaining comprehensive records of data processing activities.
- Ensuring thorough documentation aligned with data protection laws and standards.
- Developing, monitoring, auditing, and refining processes for compliance with evolving data protection regulations.
- Identifying and assessing BuildingMinds' data processing activities.
- Conducting gap analyses and generating compliance reports.
- Addressing inquiries from data subjects within legal timeframes.
- Delivering training on data protection and security to staff members.
We Would Like to Hear From You If You:
- Hold a Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field.
- Possess strong proficiency in English and German.
- Exhibit excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Have a solid understanding of MS Office applications.
- Can effectively communicate with various management levels and stakeholders.
- Have a strong grasp of data protection laws (e.g., GDPR) and related regulations.
- Possess in-depth knowledge of data security standards (e.g., ISO 27001).
- Bring at least 2 years of practical experience in data protection and security, particularly in documentation and compliance.
- Ideally, have insights into data processing operations within the real estate sector.
- Are familiar with computer security systems.
- Demonstrate integrity and high ethical standards, with the ability to report non-compliance issues impartially.
- Exhibit exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Are a quick learner with intrinsic motivation.
- Thrive in a collaborative team environment.
- Possess a business-oriented mindset.
