Your ProfileYour Role as a Data Protection Compliance Manager (m/f/d)
We seek a manager to implement essential measures ensuring that BuildingMinds consistently adheres to relevant data protection regulations. You will oversee the information security management system standards, ensuring they are not only met but also properly documented and managed. In this role, you will report directly to our management team and coordinate activities related to compliance with applicable laws (e.g., GDPR) and data security standards (e.g., ISO 27001).
You will serve as the primary contact for all internal stakeholders involved in data privacy and security matters. Collaboration with our Information Security Officer will be crucial as you develop policies that enforce compliance with pertinent legislation and deliver training to enhance staff awareness of data protection and security protocols.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain comprehensive records of data processing activities.
- Ensure thorough documentation in line with data protection laws and standards.
- Develop, monitor, audit, and refine processes and procedures necessary for compliance with evolving data protection regulations.
- Identify and assess BuildingMinds' data processing activities.
- Conduct gap analyses and prepare compliance reports.
- Address inquiries from data subjects within the required legal timeframes.
- Provide data protection and security training to employees.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field.
- Fluent in English and German.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficient in MS Office applications.
- Adept at engaging with various management levels and stakeholders.
- Strong understanding of data protection laws (e.g., GDPR) and relevant standards.
- At least 2 years of practical experience in data protection and security, focusing on documentation and ISO 27001 certification.
- Familiarity with data processing operations in the real estate sector is advantageous.
- Knowledge of computer security systems.
- High ethical standards and the ability to report non-compliance issues impartially.
- Outstanding organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail.
- Quick learner with intrinsic motivation.
- Team-oriented with a business-focused mindset.
