We are seeking a skilled professional in the field of Electrical Engineering to take on the role of an Offshore Cable Technology Specialist at 50Hertz Transmission GmbH, part of the European Elia Group. This position is crucial for ensuring the reliability and efficiency of our offshore cable systems, contributing to the ongoing energy transition.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintaining and ensuring the operational readiness of offshore network connection systems.
- Planning, executing, and overseeing maintenance activities for both onshore and offshore cable infrastructures.
- Upholding safety standards and environmental regulations.
- Coordinating tasks between external contractors and internal teams.
- Engaging in projects aimed at expanding the network infrastructure.
- Reviewing technical documentation and supervising project execution.
- Facilitating technical training and safety workshops.
- Participating in on-call duties for troubleshooting and issue resolution.
Required Qualifications:
- Completion of a master's or technician's program in Electrical Engineering or Energy Technology.
- Experience with High or Medium Voltage Cable Technology.
- Knowledge of testing protocols.
- Strong communication, organizational, and collaborative skills.
- Meeting health requirements for offshore operations.
- Proficiency in English and German (minimum B2 level).
