Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement procurement strategies to ensure cost-effective and efficient purchasing of indirect goods and services.
- Manage relationships with suppliers and service providers to ensure quality, reliability, and cost-effectiveness.
- Negotiate contracts and terms with suppliers to secure the best possible deals.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, ethical standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with various departments to understand their procurement needs and provide solutions.
- Monitor and evaluate supplier performance to ensure adherence to agreed terms and quality standards.
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and effectiveness in the procurement process.
- Manage and track budgets related to indirect procurement to ensure alignment with organizational financial goals.
- Prepare and present reports on procurement activities, spend analysis, and cost savings to senior management.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in purchasing or procurement, with at least 3 years in indirect procurement.
- Proven track record in indirect purchasing and supplier management.
- Certifications such as CPSM, CPP, CIPS, or Six Sigma are advantageous.
- Strong negotiation and contract management skills.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficient in procurement software and tools.
- Strong financial and budget management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
