Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated SAP Business Transformation Project Leader (f/m/d) to join our Business Transformation Deployment team. This role is pivotal in managing the successful implementation of our strategic initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • As the SAP Business Transformation Project Leader, you will be an integral part of the KION Business Transformation Deployment Core Team, overseeing the effective execution of project rollouts in alignment with the business project strategy.
  • You will manage all facets of the S4HANA deployment, ensuring the successful integration of processes and solutions tailored to specific regions.
  • Your role includes defining business readiness activities as part of the transition, developing contingency plans, and implementing necessary mitigation strategies.
  • You will oversee risk management, issue resolution, and local workstream meetings, facilitating necessary escalations.
  • Collaboration with country coordinators, stakeholders, and local teams will be essential, leveraging your exceptional project management skills and intercultural expertise.
  • Post-Go-Live, you will ensure a smooth transition to the receiving organization, managing the hyper-care phase in close cooperation with the core team.
  • You will work closely with a diverse, international team of deployment members, sharing your knowledge and experiences with peers.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • A degree in business administration, business informatics, industrial engineering, or a related field, complemented by a minimum of 5 years of professional experience.
  • Proven experience in large-scale change initiatives and SAP/S4HANA projects, with a strong command of IT project management methodologies.
  • Excellent communication, intercultural, and motivational skills, with a background in international environments.
  • A growth mindset and a commitment to working effectively within a high-performance, diverse team.
  • Professional proficiency in English is essential; additional language skills are advantageous.
  • Willingness to travel as required for project phases.
