About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Data Scientist Machine Learning to join our team at DZ BANK AG. As a key member of our data science team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing cutting-edge data science and machine learning solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop data science and machine learning solutions from proof-of-concept to operational KI/ML models.
  • Collaborate with our architects and product owners to align with our central data science and generative AI platform.
  • Present the results of your (generative) KI projects in technical presentations and meetings, and provide expert advice to our departments on data labs and projects.
  • Work with our customers to develop tailored solutions for optimal model performance, and bring your models into a maintainable format for containerized deployment in the CI/CD pipeline.
  • Support our power users in using existing AI/GenAI tools, and train your colleagues through presentations and workshops.
Requirements
  • Successful studies in computer science, natural sciences, mathematics, or engineering.
  • Several years of professional experience in model or software development with Python, and ideally in object-oriented programming.
  • Fundamental knowledge in mathematics, statistics, machine learning algorithms, and data science procedures, including generative AI (RAG, fine-tuning, etc.).
  • Knowledge in the continuous deployment of ML/AI products (DevOps/MLOps), as well as in databases, architectures, and design principles.
  • The right mix of communication strength, customer orientation, and a conceptual, structured way of thinking.
