Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Data Scientist to join our team and contribute to the development of our Predictive Maintenance platform. As a key member of our data science team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and optimizing machine learning models to predict and prevent building damages.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement machine learning models to predict building damages
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define technical approaches, data, and algorithms
  • Analyze and prepare large datasets for machine learning model development
  • Identify and acquire required internal and external data sources
  • Build and deploy prediction models from proof-of-concept to production-ready
  • Participate in requirements gathering, technical specification, design, and development of complex machine learning operationalization projects
  • Contribute to architecture design and development of data or machine learning pipelines
Requirements
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Science, or Engineering, or relevant certifications
  • Strong knowledge of machine learning and AI techniques, including supervised and unsupervised learning, deep learning, graph data analytics, statistical analysis, time series, geospatial, NLP, sentiment analysis, pattern recognition, etc.
  • Experience with data science libraries such as Pandas, Numpy, Scikit-Learn, and PyTorch
  • Knowledge of SQL for accessing and processing data
  • Experience using Python or R to extract insights from data
  • Experience with latest data science platforms and frameworks, such as Databricks, Azure Machine Learning, AWS SageMaker, TensorFlow, MXNet, scikit-learn
  • Deep understanding of data manipulation and wrangling techniques
  • English and German language skills
