Operational Purchasing Specialist

As a key member of the Global Supply Planning team, you will be responsible for managing purchase volumes for a set of products in line with departmental goals on inventory and availability. Your primary focus will be on hearing items to be sourced within the Sonova Group, requiring a broad set of tasks relevant for planning and supply.
Your Key Responsibilities:- Operative purchasing for dedicated sets of products, including placing orders and being the main contact for a certain group of suppliers.
- Support the purchasing process for new product launches, working closely with strategic purchasing on pricing and availability of key components.
- Manage long and mid-term purchase volume planning, ensuring optimal inventory levels and supply chain efficiency.
- Support global warehouse volume management, proactively pushing or pulling orders depending on inventory volume and demand evolution.
- At least 3 years of commercial training with a focus on business administration, supply chain, or similar.
- At least 2-5 years of professional experience in planning and purchasing, with a focus on customer needs.
- Fluent communication skills in English and German, with the ability to work in a fast-paced international environment.
- Precise and reliable execution of daily tasks, with a willingness to assist in implementing new processes and procedures.
- Understanding of sales requirements and drivers in different local markets, with a positive attitude and enthusiasm for tasks.
- Previous experience working with ERP systems, preferably JDE and Futurmaster, ideally SAP.
- Strong team player with good intercultural communication skills, able to work with customers and suppliers.
- Mastery of Microsoft Office 365 packages.
