The Lost and Found Personalberatung & Vermittlung has been a well-established and recognized recruitment consultancy for over 24 years, specializing in the international hospitality, tourism, and related industries.

Our primary focus is on the search, pre-selection, and placement of skilled professionals and executives across various sectors, including international hospitality, tourism, furniture, food, and supply industries. Our expertise and reliability set us apart.

Key Responsibilities


• Assist in formulating and executing strategies to meet revenue objectives for the Groups, Conference & Events division.


• Support in leading a team to ensure that all events are carried out to the highest standards.


• Collaborate closely with the Director of Groups, Conference & Events and the Director of Sales & Business Development to implement sales strategies for the division.


• Ensure that all inquiries related to groups and events are addressed and managed within budget, ensuring client satisfaction.


• Cultivate and maintain relationships with key clients and stakeholders within the hotel and organization.


• Ensure that all events comply with local regulations and company policies.


• Represent and lead the Groups, Conference & Events team in the absence of the Director.

STRATEGY


• Implement the GC&E strategy in alignment with DGCE, DBD & RM.


• Assist in maintaining a Demand Calendar for C&E based on pricing per meeting room DDR & Room Hire, adjusting pricing according to demand.


• Review inquiries exceeding €20,000 before they reach clients.


• Participate in Revenue Meetings to discuss risks and operations regarding forecasts, meeting room occupancy, and pace in the absence of the Director.

TEAM MANAGEMENT


• Oversee daily team workloads and address questions.


• Identify development areas and provide necessary training.


• Prepare staff rosters for approval by the Director of GC&E.


• Understand and define each team member's capabilities to assign them appropriate clients based on value and experience.


• Instruct and train staff in accordance with brand standards, service behavior guidelines, and legal requirements, ensuring employees are well-equipped to perform their duties.


• Conduct performance evaluations as needed.

OPERATIONS


• Act in the Director's absence by managing the inbox and assigning new quotations to team members.


• Conduct daily huddles and weekly training sessions.


• Quote and convert more complex group inquiries.


• Participate in client show-arounds based on value.


• Ensure follow-ups are completed within 24 hours.


• Ensure team members are prepared for group meeting updates.


• Ensure familiarity with brand tools for conversion.

Qualifications


• Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management or a related field.


• A minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar position.


• Strong leadership and management abilities.


• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.


• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.


• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.


• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.


• Proficiency in German is essential; professional level of English is required.
