The Lost and Found Personalberatung & Vermittlung has been a recognized leader in personnel consulting and placement for over 24 years, specializing in the international hospitality, tourism, and related industries.

Key Responsibilities


• Assist in formulating and executing strategies to meet revenue objectives for the Groups, Conference & Events division.


• Support the management of a team to ensure all events are delivered to the highest standards.


• Collaborate closely with the Director of Groups, Conference & Events and the Director of Sales & Business Development to implement sales strategies for the division.


• Ensure timely responses to all group and event inquiries, adhering to budgetary constraints and client satisfaction.


• Cultivate and maintain relationships with key clients and stakeholders within the hotel and organization.


• Ensure all events comply with local regulations and company policies.


• Represent and lead the Groups, Conference & Events team in the absence of the Director.

Strategic Initiatives


• Implement the GC&E strategy in alignment with DGCE, DBD & RM.


• Assist in maintaining a Demand Calendar for C&E based on pricing per meeting room DDR & Room Hire, adjusting prices according to demand.


• Review inquiries exceeding €20,000 before they reach clients.


• Participate in Revenue Meetings to discuss Risk & Ops regarding forecasts, Meeting Room Occupancy, and Pace in the absence of the Director.

Team Leadership


• Oversee daily team workload and address inquiries.


• Identify development areas and provide necessary training.


• Prepare team schedules for approval by the Director of GC&E.


• Assess and define each team member's capabilities to allocate clients appropriately based on value and experience.


• Train staff in compliance with brand standards, service behavior rules, and legal requirements, ensuring they have the necessary tools to perform their roles effectively.


• Conduct performance evaluations as needed.

Operational Management


• Act in the Director's absence, managing the inbox and assigning new quotations to team members.


• Facilitate daily briefings and weekly training sessions.


• Handle quoting and conversion for more complex groups.


• Participate in client tours based on value.


• Ensure follow-ups are completed within 24 hours.


• Prepare team members for updates on group meetings.


• Ensure familiarity with the brand's tools for conversion.

Qualifications


• Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management or a related field.


• At least 2 years of experience in a similar position.


• Strong leadership and management abilities.


• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.


• Capacity to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.


• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.


• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.


• Proficiency in German is essential; professional-level English is required.
