Order Processing Specialist

Position Overview:
Raytheon Technologies, a global leader in aerospace and defense, is seeking a dedicated Order Management Clerk. This role is vital in ensuring seamless order processing and customer satisfaction within our operations.
As part of our commitment to excellence, the Order Management Clerk will be instrumental in managing order workflows and maintaining effective communication with clients. This position is based in a dynamic environment that fosters innovation and collaboration.
Key Responsibilities:
- Accept and verify orders, addressing any discrepancies both internally and externally, while ensuring accurate entry into the ERP system and coordinating delivery timelines.
- Monitor and maintain customer portals, ensuring data integrity and timely order processing.
- Communicate effectively with customers regarding production updates, deadlines, and feasibility, collaborating closely with relevant departments.
- Manage invoicing for customer orders, including handling advance payment transactions.
- Maintain master data within the ERP system to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Prepare commission statements and conduct preference calculations as required.
Additional Responsibilities:
- Advocate for customer expectations and contractual obligations within specialist departments.
- Participate in audits and support reporting activities.
- Assist with project initiatives and export license processes.
- Handle inquiries from both existing and prospective customers in the aftermarket sector.
- Address customer complaints and collaborate with the quality department to ensure resolution.
- Engage in continuous improvement efforts and support Outside Sales with development order recording and invoicing.
Qualifications:
- A minimum of 3 years of relevant vocational training in a commercial field or equivalent experience.
- Familiarity with Part 21 / Part 145 regulations.
- Understanding of business operations requiring export licenses.
- Proficiency in ERP systems and CAQ.
- Knowledge of EN9100 standards and human factors.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Reliability and an independent work ethic.
- Assertiveness and a customer-oriented approach.
- Proficiency in written and spoken English; knowledge of Italian is an advantage.
