Your RoleAs a Cloud Platform Developer, you will work collaboratively with diverse teams focused on developing software systems in two primary domains:
- Heartbeat: Creating a virtual power plant by enhancing our energy management system "Heartbeat" and improving the customer experience application.
- Operational Framework for Installation Firms: Digitizing operations and processes from ground-level tasks to rooftop installations.
Your role will involve addressing technical challenges and optimizing our internal developer platform, allowing your colleagues to concentrate on solving business challenges. The DORA (DevOps Research and Assessment) metrics will serve as key performance indicators for your success.

- Facilitate developer self-service by crafting reusable, opinionated Infrastructure as Code (IaC) modules.
- Develop software and establish systems to manage the platform's infrastructure and applications effectively.
- Provide primary operational support and infrastructure expertise to our engineering teams.
- Enhance developer experience and productivity.
- Improve DORA metrics to gauge success.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in Platform Engineering (DevOps), Site Reliability, or a similar Cloud Engineering role.
- Proficient in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles, particularly with Terraform.
- Experience with a public cloud provider, preferably Google Cloud Platform (GCP), and a solid grasp of its core services.
- In-depth knowledge and hands-on experience with container-based infrastructure (Docker, Google Cloud Run, Kubernetes).
- Proficient in one or more high-level programming languages, such as Python, GoLang, or TypeScript.
- Proactive in identifying problems, areas for enhancement, and performance bottlenecks.
- Strong customer-centric approach with a focus on delivering exceptional developer experiences.
- Fluent in spoken and written English; proficiency in German is a plus.
- Residency in Germany is required.
