Cloud Platform Architect

We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Platform Architect to join our platform team at Aroundhome, a leading recommendation platform for houseowners.
Key Responsibilities- Enhance Product Delivery: Prioritize developer experience, streamline processes, and understand developers' needs to drive business value.
- Design and Implement Tooling: Develop user-friendly tooling and technology stack to reduce cognitive load and address pain points.
- Contribute to Platform Team: Transition the platform team into a product delivery team focused on internal tech customers.
- Optimize Cloud Technologies: Leverage cloud technologies to optimize and harness their benefits.
- Explore Innovative Strategies: Continuously assess and explore innovative strategies to drive business growth.
- Technical Expertise: Strong technical background, particularly in Go, Ruby, or Typescript, to effectively engage with developers and align with cloud technologies.
- Cloud Experience: Expertise in AWS, container tools like Kubernetes and Docker, and Infrastructure-as-Code tools such as Terraform.
- Logging and Monitoring: Familiarity with logging, monitoring, and alerting solutions like DataDog and Linux/Unix.
- Developer Experience: Commitment to equipping developers with top-notch tools, processes, and environments to optimize productivity and drive business value.
- Hybrid Work: Choose between working from our Berlin office, remote locations in Germany, or from Portugal. Opportunity to work up to 30 days per year from selected EU countries.
