Director of Global Product Strategy

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conceptualization of innovative products and technologies tailored for the market
  • Creation of new product lines adhering to applicable regulations and industry standards
  • Leadership and oversight of projects throughout the entire development process, including Design Evaluations, Technical Assessments, and Project Milestone Reviews within the Innovation and Development sectors of the Wound Care division
  • Compilation and delivery of project updates to various stakeholders across the organization
  • Technical oversight for a specific range of products in the domain of negative pressure wound therapy
  • Coordination with cross-functional teams such as marketing, manufacturing, supply chain, and regulatory compliance
  • Assisting the broader organization in the upkeep and revision of documentation to meet relevant standards
  • Guaranteeing product adherence to all necessary regulations and guidelines
Required Qualifications:
  • Degree in natural sciences or engineering (e.g., medical technology, polymer engineering) with a specialization in polymers and related manufacturing processes
  • Proven experience in the design and processing of polymer materials, including extrusion and injection molding techniques
  • Background in project collaboration and/or management
  • Familiarity with wound care and medical device sectors
  • Understanding of medical device regulations and associated areas (e.g., application, design control, biocompatibility, clinical evaluation, risk management, sterilization, CE marking, FDA compliance)
  • Proficiency in both English and German
