Your Role and Responsibilities

  • As a Supplier Quality Specialist, your primary objective will be to enhance the quality standards of our suppliers. You will coordinate closely with our Supplier Quality Engineers, working within a dynamic, cross-functional international team.
  • You will oversee and address issues arising during the Production Part Approval Process (PPAP), providing recommendations for escalation when necessary.
  • Your expertise will be crucial in reviewing Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) deliverables, drafting actionable plans to ensure their timely completion, and offering on-site support during supplier audits.
  • By implementing and managing changes within the supplier processes, you will play a vital role in achieving project objectives.
  • Collaboration is key; you will engage with diverse stakeholders, ensuring both internal teams and suppliers find value in your contributions.

Your Qualifications

  • A degree in engineering, business administration, supply chain management, or a related field.
  • Certifications such as VDA 6.3 lead auditor, IATF 16949:2016, and Green Belt Lean Six Sigma.
  • In-depth knowledge of procurement processes and a solid understanding of standard components within the automotive industry.
  • A strong desire to develop into a Supplier Quality Manager.
  • Proficiency in English and a good command of German, with the ability to remain composed under pressure and a curiosity for continuous learning.
