Your Role and Responsibilities
As a Supplier Quality Assurance Specialist, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the quality standards of our suppliers. Your responsibilities will include:
- Coordinating with Supplier Quality Engineers to ensure compliance with quality requirements.
- Monitoring and addressing issues throughout the Production Part Approval Process (PPAP) and recommending necessary escalation measures.
- Conducting reviews of Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) deliverables and formulating action plans for resolution.
- Providing on-site support during supplier audits to ensure adherence to quality standards.
- Implementing and managing process changes with suppliers to meet project objectives.
- Collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to foster positive relationships.
Your Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you should possess:
- A degree in engineering, business administration, supply chain management, or a related field.
- Certifications such as VDA 6.3 lead auditor and IATF 16949:2016.
- A solid understanding of procurement processes and standard components in the automotive industry.
- A desire to grow into a Supplier Quality Manager role.
- Fluency in English and proficiency in German, along with a proactive and curious mindset.
