Your Role:
As a Supplier Quality Specialist, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the quality standards of our suppliers. Your responsibilities will include:
- Coordinating the requirements of our Supplier Quality Engineers within a dynamic, cross-functional international team.
- Monitoring and addressing issues throughout the Production Part Approval Process (PPAP) and recommending necessary escalation measures.
- Conducting reviews of open Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) deliverables and formulating action plans to ensure their timely resolution.
- Providing on-site support during supplier audits to uphold our quality standards.
- Implementing and managing changes in supplier processes to meet project objectives effectively.
- Collaborating with diverse teams to foster positive relationships with both internal stakeholders and suppliers.
Your Qualifications:
To succeed in this role, you should possess:
- A university degree in engineering, business administration, supply chain management, or a related field.
- Certifications such as VDA 6.3 lead auditor, IATF 16949:2016, and Green Belt Lean Six Sigma.
- In-depth knowledge of procurement processes and a solid understanding of standard components in the automotive sector.
- A strong desire to develop into a Supplier Quality Manager.
- Proficiency in English and a good command of German, with the ability to remain composed under pressure and a willingness to learn.
