Design and Product Manager for In-House Brand

About the Role

  • We are seeking a highly skilled Design and Product Manager to join our team at Daniels & Co Herrenmode GmbH, a leading fashion brand in the high-end menswear segment.
  • The successful candidate will be responsible for developing our collections from concept to production, working closely with our international production partners.
  • Key responsibilities include:
  • Product Development: Design and develop new products in the areas of knitwear, woven fabrics, and webware.
  • Trend Research: Conduct market analysis through trend research, trade show attendance, and store checks.
  • Color Concept Development: Create and implement color concepts for our collections.
  • Material Selection: Source and select materials and accessories for our products.
  • Fit and Quality Control: Conduct fit tests and evaluate product quality to ensure optimal results.
  • Pattern Making and Grading: Develop and refine patterns and grading to ensure accurate fit and sizing.
  • Production Planning: Collaborate with our technical team to clarify production details and ensure smooth production processes.
  • Documentation and Communication: Create and maintain documentation, including production specifications, grading tables, and other necessary materials, and communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
About You

  • We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced professional with a strong background in fashion design and product development.
  • Key qualifications include:
  • Education: A degree in fashion design or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Experience: A minimum of 3 years of experience in product development and design for a fashion brand.
  • Skills: Strong creative and problem-solving skills, excellent communication and teamwork abilities, and a keen eye for detail.
  • Language Skills: Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
  • Software Skills: Proficiency in MS Office and digital design tools.
