Daniels & Co Herrenmode GmbH is a renowned family-owned business specializing in high-quality men's and women's clothing. With a strong presence across multiple retail locations and a thriving online platform, we are dedicated to crafting premium fashion experiences.

We are seeking a talented and passionate Fashion Designer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in shaping the future of our brand by contributing your creative vision and expertise to the design process.

Responsibilities
  • Spearhead the development of captivating collections from initial concept to production readiness, collaborating closely with international production partners.
  • Conceptualize and design innovative products across a range of fabrics, including knitwear, jersey, and woven materials.
  • Conduct in-depth trend research, attend industry trade shows, and analyze market trends to inform design decisions.
  • Develop compelling color palettes, meticulously select materials and accessories, ensuring alignment with brand aesthetics.
  • Conduct meticulous fittings to assess and refine garment fit, guaranteeing optimal comfort and style.
  • Evaluate samples rigorously for fit, quality, and craftsmanship, ensuring adherence to the highest standards.
  • Collaborate effectively with technical preparation teams to clarify processing details and ensure seamless production workflows.
  • Contribute to the creation of comprehensive processing descriptions and measurement tables, providing clear guidance for manufacturing.
  • Maintain open communication channels with both internal and external stakeholders, fostering strong relationships and collaborative efforts.
Requirements
  • A Bachelor's degree in Fashion Design or a related field is essential. Additional design qualifications are highly desirable.
  • Proven experience in the fashion design industry, demonstrating a strong portfolio of successful projects.
  • Exceptional creativity and innovative thinking, with a keen eye for detail and a passion for pushing boundaries.
  • A sophisticated understanding of color theory, materials, and textile properties.
  • Strong teamwork skills, coupled with excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • A proactive and results-oriented approach to work, with the ability to manage multiple projects effectively.
  • Fluency in English is required. Proficiency in MS Office Suite and digital design tools is essential.
