Job Title: PV Engineering Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled PV Engineering Manager to join our team at Taylor Hopkinson | Powered by Brunel. As a key member of our onshore renewable energy business, you will be responsible for leading the engineering efforts for our PV projects in Germany.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement PV project designs, including site analysis, feasibility studies, and engineering assessments.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project execution, including development, construction, and commissioning.
  • Lead the development of solar PV design packages, including solar array layouts, electrical one-lines, collection systems, and equipment mounting details.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards for PV projects.
  • Supervise the EPC works, focusing on engineering issues, and ensure that projects are delivered on time and within budget.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Energy Engineering, or a related field.
  • Master's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Energy Engineering, or a related field.
  • At least 5 years of experience in engineering of photovoltaic projects in Germany.
  • Experience with PVSYST software and knowledge of solar PV plants design and optimization software.
  • Excellent interpersonal and time management skills.
  • Proficiency in German and English languages.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience in getting through Germany Administration licensing process for renewable projects.
  • Demonstrated success in working with international project teams in diverse and often complex working environments.
  • Knowledge of MS Project, AutoCad, and GIS.
