About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Technical Product Specialist to join our team at SAP. As a key member of our organization, you will play a pivotal role in guiding and executing the product direction for our AI-driven solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate requirements into actionable user stories and product specifications
- Serve as a subject matter expert on AI technologies and trends, providing guidance and thought leadership to internal teams and external stakeholders
- Evaluate and compare pre-built models and LLMs from other vendors to decide whether to integrate third-party solutions or build in-house models
- Drive the development of AI models and algorithms, working closely with data scientists and engineers to ensure high-quality and scalable solutions
- Lead the end-to-end product lifecycle from ideation to launch and beyond for AI use-cases
- Work closely with stakeholders to gather requirements, prioritize features, and align product roadmap with business objectives
- Define and track key performance metrics (KPIs) to measure product success and drive continuous improvement
- Work closely with sales, marketing, and customer success teams to ensure successful product launches and adoption
- Continuously monitor customer feedback and market dynamics to iterate on product features and enhance user experience
Requirements
- Deep understanding of AI technologies, including Generative AI, LLMs, chatbots, deep learning, and related fields
- Experience in building, fine-tuning, and deploying AI models and algorithms
- Proficiency in evaluating third-party AI solutions and making informed build vs. buy decisions
- Familiarity with concepts and tools commonly used in AI development (e.g., Python, TensorFlow, PyTorch)
About You
- Proven experience in product management with a strong emphasis on AI-first products
- Ability to lead the end-to-end product lifecycle, from ideation to launch and beyond
- Strong focus on customer value and prioritizing the voice of the customer
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a data-driven approach to decision-making
- Experience working with agile development methodologies and tools
