Regional Sales Associate

Arlon Graphics LLC is seeking a dynamic and experienced sales professional to join our expanding EMEA team, based in Germany. As a Regional Sales Associate, you will be responsible for managing and expanding the company's sales within the graphic film/vinyl/plastics sector.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Establish and Maintain Relationships: Develop and maintain positive business and customer relationships to drive sales growth and customer satisfaction.
  • Sales Target Achievement: Achieve sales targets and outcomes within agreed-upon timeframes, ensuring timely and effective resolution of customer problems and complaints.
  • Distribution Channel Partners: Contact and support distribution channel partners (regional and national) to expedite the resolution of customer issues and maximize satisfaction.
  • Product Education: Educate distribution partners on how to sell our products and best deliver our value proposition, ensuring they are equipped to meet customer needs.
  • Joint Sales Calls: Participate in joint sales calls with distributor reps on agreed-upon targets to drive sales growth and customer satisfaction.
  • End User Accounts: Build relationships with End User accounts to create distributor pull-through business, promoting our products and services.
  • Customer Visits: Visit existing customers and potential new customers to evaluate needs or promote products and services, ensuring customer satisfaction.
  • Technical Support: Support customer inquiries/technical issues/needs, providing product recommendations and escalating technical issues to Tech Service or Quality.
  • Market Analysis: Analyze the territory/market's potential, tracking sales and status reports to inform business decisions.
  • Reporting: Provide management with reports on customer needs, problems, interests, competitive activities, market trends, and potential for new products and services.
  • Marketing Coordination: Coordinate sales effort with the Marketing department to support promotions, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
  • Industry Events: Attend trade shows, open houses, golf outings, and networking events as needed to build relationships and promote our products and services.
Requirements:
  • Business or Sales Qualification: A business or sales qualification is required, with a minimum of five (5) years recent relevant work experience, including a minimum of two (2) years in a Sales role.
  • Travel Requirements: Ability, availability, and willingness to travel as per business needs, with active travel documents, a driver's license, and insurance.
  • Technical Skills: Microsoft Office proficiency, working knowledge of CRM and web research, and strong communication skills in the English language (verbal, written, presentation, inter-personal).
  • Relationship Building: Proven ability to build and maintain relationships, with negotiation and persuasion skills and a customer-focused mindset.

  • Travel Frequency: Must be able to travel up to 75% of the time via various modes of transportation.

Education and Experience: A third-level qualification, professional certifications in sales (ISM - Institute of Sales Management), and experience in the sign/graphics market would be advantageous.
