Job Description

We are seeking a highly experienced and motivated Senior Manager to lead our Financial Services Audit team at Mazars GmbH & Co. KG. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading and motivating a team of 5 to 10 colleagues and acting as the main point of contact for clients on-site.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead Financial Statement Audits: Conduct in-depth analyses of business models, processes, and results, assisting in the examination and assessment of business organization, and addressing all issues related to accounting, valuation, risk control, and management.
  • Audit Credit and Securities Business: Audit credit, custody, and/or securities business as well as provide opinions on regulatory topics.
  • Team Leadership: As a Senior Manager, responsible for leading and motivating a team of 5 to 10 colleagues and acting as the main point of contact for clients on-site.
Requirements
  • Experience: Several years of experience in auditing financial statements of banks, asset managers, and/or financial service providers according to HGB, as well as in auditing Reporting Packages according to IFRS.
  • Education: Completed degree in economics, preferably with a focus on auditing, taxes, accounting, and/or finance.
  • Professional Certifications: Completion of a CPA exam and experience in personnel management are advantageous.
  • Soft Skills: High level of motivation, proactivity, and leadership skills.
  • Language Skills: Excellent communication skills in German and English.
