We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Team Lead UX Design to join our UX team at Aroundhome. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in shaping the user experience of our digital products and services.
As a Team Lead UX Design, you will be responsible for leading a small team of dedicated UX designers and championing their personal development. You will also take on a hybrid role, working closely with our product managers and developers to ensure an optimal user experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead a small team of UX designers and drive the UX design process from initial idea to prototype and testing
- Work closely with product managers and developers to ensure seamless integration of UX design into product development
- Develop and maintain a deep understanding of user needs and competition to inform design decisions
- Collaborate with the team to drive forward the overarching development of our UX, visual design language, and working methods
- Stay up-to-date with the latest UX trends and best practices to ensure our products and services remain competitive
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A relevant degree or comparable training in UX design or a related field
- Several years of operational professional experience in UX design, with a focus on team leadership
- Experience with design tools such as Figma and a deep understanding of web development (HTML, CSS)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
- Fluency in English and a good to very good knowledge of German
